Runescape map?

I just started runescape and I got lost and am currently have no idea where I am.The little map thing doesn’t show places and I have no idea how to access the world map.
How to I access the world map???

RUNESCAPE SUCKS, Don’t waste your time on that crappy game. Start up World of Warcraft.
