I need help in Runescape, I dont know what mge armor is good?

I want to buy ahrims set in Runescape, but then I don’t knwo what gloves boots sheild and cape to wear. A friend tells me to wear an OBBY shield, and others tell me a antidragon. Also I dont know what gloves and boots to wear, I was thinking Lunar, and Obby or Zamorak God cape.
I also don’t know if to pass the Ancient magic quest to atk with ancient magic, or to stay with normal magic.
For leviling, I am alching Yew longs, if anyone knows a better way to lvl magic pls tell me

If you want a shield that won’t bring down your magic attack use the elemental mind shield. As for gloves, get some mystic. For a cape get one of the god capes from the mage arena they give a magic bonus. Boots, either wizards boots ( from the treasure trails ) or mystic. If your going to be attacking with magic anchients is the way to go. The spells are all combat based.
