what are the best items i can merchant on in runescape?

I am merchanting on different stuff and no one is buying it. I am out of ideas. Please list me some of the best items i can merchant on,oh and they have to be popular so people buy it.

This varies from time to time.

The best way to find an item though, is checking the grand exchange database.. Look at how much items have gone up in the past day, usually if they go up 1-2% of their total value in a day they are a good item.

BUT, this is not always true, always click on the item in the database and look at the graph before investin in them, MOST of these graphs show patterns that are pretty apparent, you are usually able to tell if they are about to rise or go down.

Things to keep in mind:

1. Usually if items drop for a long time, then quickly go up, it wont last, they will go up for a few days and then drop even further.

2. Contrary to popular belief, F2P items work better than members ones, I mostly did 100 Sara/Zammy sets when I merchanted, this worked very well as there are more f2p players to buy these items.

3. There are new limits in the GE, keep that in mind. As I previously mentioned I used to do 100 of Sara/Zammy sets, now it will only let you buy 4 of this item per 4 hours, other items are 2 per 4 hours, keep these limits in mind, calculate how long it will take you to investall your money in the certain item.

4. Watch game updates, for example, if there is a new PVP game coming out, buy rune scims and lobsters until it does.

5. Take risks, but don’t be foolish. Merchanting is all about risks, but don’t do any harsh decisions. If santahats are jetting up, it usually means a large merchanting clan is buying them.. Once they sell, you’ll lose money if you buy them.. It’s better to stick with non-rare items because the markets are less shifty.

6. Get friends/clanmates to buy in with you, the more people buying, the longer it will rise.

7. It’s suually smart to pay 1k above/below max/market/low price, you’ll get items before those who do.

8. This does not apply in all situations, but uisually if an item is going up, buy it for a bit over market, sell it for a bit under max price. If it’s going down, buy it for lowest price, sell it for market.

—- As far as right now goes, I would suggest buying rune (t) sets at market price and selling them at maximum price, it may take a good while to buy them because of the new limits, but just dso it while your offline.

But, as I said, what’s working right nowis usually irrelivant, in a few days, they will likely start going down.

Good Luck Merchanting!

Great items to merchant in runescape!
