What is the new thing “Ivy” in Runescape?

I have played for many years, but I haven’t played in about a year. So I started to play again and I saw the new woodcutting object Ivy. What do you get when you cut the Ivy? Is it of any value? & is this good training?

ok so ivy is a really good thing to train on it gives you 300-323 exp and regular yew logs give you 175 also you don’t get anything but birds nests from ivy so its only good for exp hope this helps
