when should i start the dragon slayer quest on runescape?

my guy is lvl 44 in combat and i beat all the other quests on free mode and now im just training… and i was wondering when i shuld start the d slayer quest…

it depends on your stats. i think you can go battle it right now. just have strength potion and full batch of lobbies with you. i killed elvarg when i was like level 45 or something. i had 40 something strength or so and 40 defense i think. just give it your best. if you have low strength and defense, i think you might want to train a lil bit more.
