in woodcutting on runescape is a dragon hatchet better than a rune?

i have a rune and want to know if a dragon hatchet is faster?i have 67 wood cutting

dragon hatchet is better definitely. Depending on your woodcutting skill, it is about 15-20% better than the rune hatchet. Although it is better by a significant amount, it is also more expensive. It is around 1.6mil these days and is stabilizing in that area. It is a good combination with lumberjack clothing which is obtained through the “temple trekking” minigame. The clothes add on an extra 2.5% more xp when cutting trees. You get it as a bonus and is only obtained through the zombie event (with no trees). The components are lumberjack: hat, top, legs, and boots. Anyways, the dragon hatchet is considered much better than rune, and since an update, you don’t have to worry about losing your hatchet’s head anymore so it’s safe to get it.
