do runescape prepaid cards expire if i dont use it for a couple of months?

i just bought a card from 7/11 and its been activated by the register. i dont plan on using it now but later. like…..3-6months. does it expire becauseon the card it doesnt say when or if it expires. it sayd the number of conceutive days in pre-paid period shown on the card starting from the date the pin code is redeemed. so ….??
does it mean it doesnt start expireing unless i activate the pin on the site??
please help.
