How is World of Warcraft Addicting?
I recently quit runescape…
I realized it sucked so badly, the graphics were horrible, and the game started to get boring. I put all of my item from my bank into the the party chest. It was good bye to runescape forever.
Now, I want to play World of Warcraft since its portrayed as very addicted game and the graphics are amazing. The log in screen has better graphics than runescape. lol.
I played world of warcraft for 10 minutes, but it was too complex for me to continue.
My question is, Why do millions of people find World of Warcraft Addicting?
What are your reasons?
The real reason most people get addicted to the game is the communication aspect of it. Because you already play games, you probably don’t need the early stuff to learn controls, but for total newbs (like I was) they need the early levels to learn to use different controls.
As you get higher and start to group with others (which can be as early as level 11 when you go after “Hogger” if you are alliance) and do dungeons, it gets more fun.
Each person is different though. The nicest part is that by level 18 or so, you can do several different things – kill mobs if that is what you like, quest, dungeons, or PvP.
Give it a little more time. The complexity is what keeps the game from getting boring like runescape did.
