how is it possible to hack my runescape account?

Someone private messaged me and said they had been told i was rich! I logged back in around 10 mins later to find my rune armour and weapon gone..along with all my money in my bank and other stuff missing! how can this happen when no-one knows my password?

well thing is there are trojans and keyloggers and keyloggers will like record everything so if you type ur social security somewhere they can get it and use it. If you donwload anything make sure to scan it and I repeat Never ever put ur runescape pass in a website other then Runescape.com or a link to RUnescape. Only Jagex tells us and there fore if you dont listen to them its only ur fault. You here ppl say they lost like 15 mil but dont listen to them they didnt cause i got hacked and i only lost my rune legs and green dhide body or vice versa. and if ppl say there giving there account away dont do it cause u might feel obligated to drop trade but u can still ask for your pass from a week when you loss it.
