Why arent my trees growing in time (Runescape Farming)?

Everytime i plant any tree seed (normal or fruit), they dont fully grow in time.
For example: I planted a few curry trees, and theyre supposed to grow in 14.6 hours, but its been over 18 hours and they still havent fully grown? Is there something wrong with my account? Or does it depend on your farming lvl.
I also pay the farmer, so i dont take care of the trees, since the famer does it for me

i don’t think it will be your account.dumb question but are you watering them ? you have to put the seed in a plant pot.then transfer the grown seedling into a cleared patch where it will continue to grow into a tree,add compost and keep watering.
